Chasing Cars 05:09
Your brown doe eyes Sun soaked and dried in moonshine Blind faith for a ride Cheap thrills from the price of your mind And you say you're scared The truth is I'm terrified too Of what and why? Who knows and who cares Just tell me when and where it could be just us two So let's go chasing cars, feel the adrenaline Rev your racing heart and keep on pedaling Forget your scrapes and scars the road is open ahead Let's go chasing cars, feel the adrenaline Let your racing heart speed up and settle in Forget your scrapes and scars, get up and do it again Short fuse, long night Tongue-tied torn by your anxious mind Two wheels on the night Fast times for the price of your life And you say you're scared The truth is I'm terrified too Of what and why? Who knows and who cares Just tell me when and where it could be just us two So let's go chasing cars, feel the adrenaline Rev your racing heart and keep on pedaling Forget your scrapes and scars the road is open ahead Let's go chasing cars, feel the adrenaline Let your racing heart speed up and settle in Forget your scrapes and scars, get up and do it again So let's go chasing cars, feel the adrenaline Rev your racing heart and keep on pedaling Forget your scrapes and scars the road is open ahead Let's go chasing cars, feel the adrenaline Let your racing heart speed up and settle in Forget your scrapes and scars, get up and do it again

Lifeline 03:45
You like to live life in the fast lane Where nobody can tell you Where to run to And you like to crash where the lights no longer flash And they can’t find you So far behind you But what will you do when your brakes give out And your gas runs low And your maps reroute What will you do when you can’t find your way home? What will you do when your boat capsizes? Lifeboats sink and the high tide rises? Where will you go when you’re out there on your own? Let me throw you a lifeline Let me throw you a lifeline Let me throw you a lifeline Let me throw you a lifeline You like to live life in the fast lane On the right track on the wrong train On the left side of the right brain And on the outside of the insane And I can’t keep on chasing you No I can’t keep on chasing you But what will you do when your lungs give out And you scream her name and she’s not around? What will you do when you can’t find your way home? What will you do when your heart rate rises? Give it all up just to feel alive It’s all we can do just to make it on our own So let me throw you a lifeline Let me throw you a lifeline Let me throw you a lifeline Let me throw you a lifeline And every sign tells you to turn right back But you trust your mind and its stuck in this race track And every time you try to turn it around… They’re catching up to you They’re catching up to you They’re catching up to you I could throw you a lifeline I could throw you a lifeline I could throw you a lifeline I could throw you a lifeline If you’d just let me try

Dan D Lion 04:50
Hurdle a turnstile Smile in the face of the law And under the bleachers his sneakers carry the love He smuggled a liter The teachers broadcast his flaws Then he’ll garnish his lungs for the fun To leave their faces in aw And that’s the same kid who shed a tear and wet the bed With a pocket full of promises And prayers in his head That’s the same kid Who shrunk away in the dark Skipping stones ‘cross the lake by the park Watch him falling slowly like red and yellow hearts Dandelion Dan D Lion Dandelion Dandelion He here’s it come near him The spirits they snap in a roar They sent him the venom His denim been stained by their claws Now they’re firing sirens His vitals they drop to a crawl His lover and mother were summoned To answer the call About the same kid Who shed a tear and wet the bed With a pocket full of promises And prayers in his head About the same kid Who shrunk away in the dark In need of an angel from a mustard seed star Watch him falling slowly like red and yellow hearts Dandelion Dan D Lion Dandelion Dan D Lion Dandelion Your exit was unannounced Dandelion Your sentence the wind pronounced And that’s the same kid who shed a tear and wet the bed With a pocket full of promises And prayers in his head That’s the same kid Who shrunk away in the dark Skipping stones ‘cross the lake by the park Watch him falling slowly like red and yellow hearts Dandelion Dan D Lion Dandelion Dandelion Dandelion Dan D Lion Dandelion Dandelion

He’s got a tongue full of stories But he’s got nothing to tell He knows it well And so he knows it loud And I can’t find my way out of this crowd I’m searching all the walls For places I can hide in Or people to confide in But I think I got the wrong address tonight The wrong address tonight The wrong address tonight The wrong address tonight And all these killer whales Don’t seem to notice me As I sneak my way through the sea Of un-engaging company And I find myself flounderin around Unsure of what to talk about Will you show me the way out please I think I’ve got the wrong address tonight The wrong address tonight The wrong address tonight We’re in the shallow end of conversation Sorry I can’t dive in I’m just trying to get by I can really tell you’re trying But I’m not the one you need right now I’m planning my own escape route Will you show me the way out please? There’s so many places that I would rather be That I would rather be That I would rather be That I would rather be I think I got the wrong address tonight The wrong address tonight The wrong address tonight The wrong address tonight I think I got the wrong address tonight

Better Place 03:56
Give me your demons they play well with mine Give me a moment and let me waste all of your time I hope you don’t mind Give me your angels and your devils too And I’ll do my best to not let them get the best of you What’s left of you Cause all of these shoulders Hold ghosts on their crowns And all of these bright eyes They just dart around the room Are we going home soon? And all of these fingers Hold stories in time That books fail to dictate And pens can’t define Do you Need a ride to To a better place Than here To a better place My dear, my dear Give me your reason and I’ll give you mine Don’t even matter if they don’t align It’s true Cause they don’t need to Show me your heartache and I’ll give you time I’ll wait for years if it means you’ll be fine Do you Feel the need to? Find all of the voices That call out your name Trace all of your choices And find whose to blame You do And that’s alright too And all of these monsters Hide under our beds And whisper sweet sounds To the ones in our heads It’s true But we’re going home soon To a better place Than here To a better place My dear, my dear To a better place Than here To a better space My dear I’ll be your better place, my dear. Cause it’s a better place when you’re here.

Blue 04:30
Let’s look both ways Double knot the bows on top of our shoes Map our hearts in scars and tattoos Let’s weigh the stakes Peruse a route to our rendezvous And if you go your way then I’ll go too There’s nothing like this type of view Endless sky to dive into Know that time will guide us through So rest your breath we’re turning blue Darling Turning blue My darling So let’s be on our way Face every blister and every bruise We could tame the waves on our way through a monsoon So let’s be bold and brave (Bold and brave) Double check the folds of our parachutes And if you should fall I’ll follow you There’s nothing like this type of view Endless sky to dive into Know that time will guide us through So rest your breath we’re turning blue Darling Turning blue My darling Let’s look before we leap It’s a long way down Say c'est la vie Let’s look before we leap It’s a long way down Say c’est la vie If we don’t come down safe and sound Say c’est la vie Say c’est la vie Say c’est la vie Say c’est la vie If we don’t kiss the ground There’s nothing like this type of view (Say c’est la vie) Endless sky to dive into (Say c’est la vie) Know that time will guide us through (Say c’est la vie) So rest your breath we’re turning blue (Say c’est la vie) There’s nothing like this type of view (Say c’est la vie) Endless sky to dive into (Say c’est la vie) Know that time will guide us through (Say c’est la vie) So rest your breath we’re turning blue (Say c’est la vie) Turning blue Turning blue Turning blue Turning blue Turning blue My darling

Happy 03:44
Darling I know this bedrooms a mess Haven’t cleaned up much no i must confess But I’m happy Tell me can you say the same? Darling I see you eyeing the door Tell me why don’t you come round no more Are you happy? You make it so hard to tell I know it’s never easy We tried so hard lately Tried to reach you but You’re so far As these memories gather like Holes in the wall Are you happy? And can I say the same Darling I know this house is a mess If I’m honest I could not care less Cause I’m happy At least I think I am Yes there’s clothes on the ground in the hall Watch your step Don’t stumble and fall Into old ways Just like those old days And I know it’s never easy We tried so hard lately Tried to reach you but You’re so far As these memories gather like Holes in the wall Are you happy? And can I say the same Yes there’s clothes on the (ground) Yes this bedrooms a (mess) Yes there’s memories but is there a future in (this) Are you happy? And would you tell me if not? We were so happy But I think you forgot But if you’re happy I’ll be happy for you Cause if you’re happy Maybe I should be too? Maybe I could be too.

Daisy 04:29
Blood stains and broken hearts Beneath your porcelain tiles Profane and pretty thoughts Behind your smile Ancient scrolls from a holy ghost With old cheat codes to the other side An antidote for the teething soul In a pauper's prose from another life When dirty suburban snow was a damn cold place to hide Daisy Could you point me toward the sun Daisy No you’re not the only one with… Post-it notes from a friend turned foe With anecdotes of faux divine And a lethal dose of youthful hope To shape your space like a pantomime When dirty suburban snow was a damn cold place to hide Daisy Could you point me toward the sun Daisy No you’re not the only one with... Blood stains and broken hearts Beneath your porcelain tiles Profane and pretty thoughts Behind your smile Blood stains and broken hearts Beneath your porcelain tiles Profane and pretty thoughts Behind your smile Blood stains and broken hearts (Daisy) Beneath your porcelain tiles (Could you point me towards the sun) Profane and pretty thoughts (Daisy) Behind your smile (No you’re not the only one) Blood stains and broken hearts (Daisy) Beneath your porcelain tiles (Could you point me towards the sun) Profane and pretty thoughts (Daisy) Behind your smile (No you’re not the only one)
